Smart Class
We are proud to announce that every class room is now equipped with a Smart Interactive Board, an Overhead Projector and a stylus- an electronic pen that works with the help of ultra violet rays. The digital class rooms are smart enough to help student to learn proper language with correct pronunciation of words and to explain scientific facts other subjects. The Smart Class consists of more than forty five thousand modules on various subjects. The system makes learning a real-life experience so that it lasts in the memory of students. It simulates a virtual laboratory for students to carry out experiments without actually touching any substance at all. It makes learning fun so that students don’t find studies something to look forward to.
Physics Lab
Our school’s physics lab is a pathway for future scientists. It is very spacious with good aeration. This helps the students to work concurrently and in unison as a team. The lab can accommodate about 30 students at same time. The lab is well equipped with many technical instruments that show a high level of accuracy. These instruments are adequate in number for the enrichment of the student’s practical knowledge. Experiments are explained to and done by the students, with care given to intricate details of each of them, so that once imbibed, the details remain in the young minds for future times. All the activities mentioned in textbook are done in the lab. The Students are given enough practical classes based on the curriculum. The students get enlightened by the experiments what they do in the lab. The highlighting feature is the safety standard that allows high quality practical work in learning to happen unrestricted and very effectively. Therefore, AJC PUBLIC SCHOOL’S Physics lab gives a well-built scientific knowledge to the students.
Chemistry Lab
In our school the chemistry lab is located in a still ambience, with conducive atmosphere for learning and performing experiments. The lab is very big, more spacious, highly ventilated and technically equipped. Chemicals are available for carrying out experiments for all the classes, especially Senior Secondary Classes. We also have equipment like Oven, electronic balance, chemical balance, distilled water plant, electrical furnace, etc. Separate racks, modernized wash basins and seats are provided for each student to perform their experiments. Fire extinguishers are fitted at the entrance of the chemistry lab. Periodic classification maps and topic-wise maps are available.
Biology Lab
Our school boasts of a highly equipped and well-stocked biology laboratory with preserved specimens, slides, models and bio visual charts which emphasize on developing scientific temper among the students. The laboratory is quite spacious and is creatively decorated by the students. We have permanent anatomical slides of plants. The lab consists of simple and compound microscopes for the students to focus and study slides. The ratio of these microscopes per student is fairly high. We have measuring devices, like analytical balance. Also the laboratory has a variety of apparatus for physiological and ecological experiments, like water bath, oven and Digital PH Meter. The laboratory is well supplied with chemicals, and equipped abundantly with thermometers and other apparatus for students to carry out their experiments. Through experiments, students are able to gain firsthand knowledge and appreciate various concepts of biology.
Computer Lab
In the modern era computer has become an integral part of human life. Techniques of using the computer are of utmost importance. A well-equipped computer lab is the nerve centre of computer education in the school to keep pace with the fast changing IT scenario. The Computer Laboratories in the school with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. They are exclusive and equipped with computers and accessories in tune with the latest technologies where computer education is provided to all the students. They receive computer training from the well qualified teachers. A large number of systems provide practical training of the programming to the students which enable them to clear their concepts easily and become confident in their real life applications. This lab is well equipped with the latest computer systems for the students to discuss each and every aspect of basic computer system.
Library
AJC Public School has a full- fledged well-endowed library with spacious reference and reading area to aid students in their pursuit of knowledge. It has a collection of wonderful and exciting books suited to the needs and tastes of growing children. The total number of books for the library is a whooping 20000 with the number increasing with each passing year. The library has sections ranging from textbooks, reference books, fiction, general knowledge, books on mythology, music, art and craft, sports, cookery, computers, biographies, Encyclopedias etc. The books are carefully graded so as to suit the needs of every age group. The library consists of 21 magazines and also subscribes to a number of dailies and journals. Availability of the internet connection in the library enables the students and teachers to reach out the entire globe in their endeavour of seeking knowledge. The library also has a vast collection of CDs on topics like Dictionaries, Stories, Rhymes, etc. The library supports multilingual approach to personality development.
